Heavy traffic around Hungaroring
Thousands have arrived in Mogyoród to visit the pit lane.
The 2019 Hungarian Grand Prix began on the 1st of August 2019 with the pit lane visit. Many arrived by the time gates were opened at 14.00, there have been no reports of traffic accidents so far.
There is heavy traffic in the roads surrounding the racetrack, police are assisting by directing traffic.
For those wishing to travel to Mogyoród, but not to the racetrack, we would recommend taking the Szada exit from the M3 motorway to avoid congestion.
Pest County Police asks those intending to travel to the area of the racetrack in the next few days to check the latest travel information in advance on the Police website. Please pay special attention to hand signals given by police officers and road signs on the routes approaching the parking lots.
