Opening hours are Mondays to Fridays 9:00 to 12:00.

Mondays to Thursdays 13:30  to 15:30

When you have lost your travel documents:  go to the police and call the Embassy!

When your belongings have been stolen:       go to the lost & found and report to the police!

When you have lost your money:                     call your friends or family and ask them to send you money!

                                                                                 Money can be sent via Western Union, Moneygram, etc.

When you cannot find your bankcards:           block your cards!

Do you need medical assistance:                       go to the first aid!

How to apply for an Emergency Travel Document

Please call the Embassy and provide the following:

  • Name, personal data, address
  • Information when document have been lost / stolen and when you want to travel back to Germany
  • Information whether you still have a copy of the stolen / lost document

When you go to your appointment at the Embassy take the following:

  • 2 passport photos
  • Copy of the stolen / lost document
  • Fee of up to 29 Euro, which has to be paid either cash in Forint or by credit card
