The Pit-Lane visit is over
Thousands were keen to see the racing cars and the competitors.
The 37th Hungarian Formula One Grand Prix began on Thursday the 28th of July, 2022 with thousands arriving for the Pit Lane visit.
After the gates were closed, the parking lots began to empty, traffic was slow on the roads around the racetrack and no incidents were reported.
At the temporary Police Station, officers on night duty in the vicinity of the racecourse were given their instructions. We have received no reports of any serious incidents occurring on the camp sites or on the roads.
Pest County Police asks all those intending to travel to Hungaroring in the next days to seek fresh information about the traffic situation. Please also pay heed to traffic officers’ directions and those of the posted road signs.
